History and Origin
The Jack Russell Terrier (Parson Russell Terrier) is a hunting dog. They originated from England, Devonshire, England.
Jack Russell Terriers were bred by Reverend John Russell in the 19th centuries to work red fox above and below ground.. A number of different strains of terriers were crossed in the breeding process.
Temperament and Personality
The Jack Russell Terrier is very energetic, alert and confident, possesses strength and endurance. Can be aggressive with other dogs. They need regular exercise.
Size and Appearance
The Jack Russell Terrier is medium in size and bone. His coat harsh is weatherproof. The color is white, white with black or tan markings.
Height is 12 - 14 inches; weight is 13 - 17 lbs.
