PeterbaldThe Peterbald is a Russian breed of Sphynxs. The breding was started in St.Petersburg, Russia, crosses between Don Sphynxs and Oriaental cats being used. The Piterbald inherited grace and fineness from Oriental cats which differs it from Canadian and Don Sphynxs.
The Peterbald is also known as the Petersburg Sphinx and the Oriental Hairless. The first breeder of the Peterbald was Olga Mironova.
The Peterbald is the youngest cat breed. The first Peterbald was born in 1994. The breed is recognised by CFA, TICA, WCF.
